Relay Formats Overview
Relay formats are available at all Supertri events, including Sprint Relay and Olympic Relay where applicable. In a relay, each team member completes one leg of the race (Swim, Bike, or Run). All relay members cross the finish line together.
Relay Packet Pick-Up
One team member may collect race packs for the entire team. Please refer to the article titled: Can someone else pick up my packet? for document requirements.
Relay Handoffs
A designated relay pen is set up at each transition point. The timing chip is transferred between team members at each handoff.
Chicago Divvy Relay Option
The Chicago Super Sprint format offers a Divvy (hire bike) option, meaning a personal bike is not required for this format. The Divvy bike will be provided on race day at Foster Beach.
